Born and raised in the Netherlands, spent my youth in Canada, and now get to call California’s wine country home, I’ve been captivated by travel ever since I was a little girl. Forever fascinated by the Travel Channel and losing myself Lonely Planet guidebooks at the book store, I’m that friend who always has at least one trip on the calendar, with many more on my bucket list.

Once a hostel-hopping backpacker, now a boutique-adventurer, and wife + mom of two, I’ve carefully planned and curated my travels across 30+ countries and 5 continents, blending cultural immersion, off-the-beaten-path adventures, and the perfect balance of luxury and exploration. I’ve enjoyed a pint at the world’s oldest pub, nestled in a Nabatean tomb rock dating back to 2000 BC; spent a night camping in the third-largest cave in the world, and sipped on a bottle of Sauvignon Blanc in the back of an open 4x4 safari Jeep. From the centuries-old cobble stone streets in Prague, to the buzzing flea markets in Bangkok, I have always approached travel with an open mind, leaving a piece of my heart in each new destination; each one of them inspiring me to share my adventures with family and friends.
